We left Formula 1 when Azerbaijan Grand Prixless than a week ago. He saw the victory of Oscar Piastri who thus won his second success in Formula 1. He beat Charles Leclerc who finished in second place after taking pole position. George Russell completed the podium, taking advantage of the accident between Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez on the last lap.
Lando Norris made a great comeback to finish 4th, while his championship rival, Max Verstappenhandicapped by brake problems, had to settle for 5th place. Also noteworthy is the great performance from the rookies. The young Franco Colapinto who, for his first race in F1 scores points with his 8th position. Without forgetting, Oliver Berman (second race in F1) who also scores points by finishing in 10th place, ahead of his teammate. It is therefore a McLaren team, at the top of the constructors’ standings with 476 pointsahead of Red Bull by 20 points, who will arrive at the Singapore GP this weekend.
