The new HBO Original series “The Penguin” (The Penguin)with Colin Farrell in the lead role, will premiere on September 20 on the Max streaming platform as well as on the HBO channel at 8:00 p.m.
Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (a.k.a. The Penguin), this eight-model limited series from DC Studios continues filmmaker Matt Reeves’ epic crime saga that began with Warner Bros.’ global blockbuster The Batman. Pictures. The series was developed by executive producer Lauren Lefranc and focuses on the character Farrell portrayed in the film.
The cast includes Colin Farrell (Oz Cobb), Christine Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Renzi Feliz (Victor Aguilar), Michael Kelly (Johnny Vitti), Shoreh Agdashlu (Nadia Maroni), Deidre O’Connell (Francis Cobb), Clancy Brown ( Salvatore Maroni), James Madio (Milos Grappa), Scott Cohen (Luca Falcone), Michael Ziegen (Alberto Falcone), Carmen Ejogo (Yves Carlo) and Theo Rossi (Dr. Julian Rush).

The series was produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, Lauren Lefranc, who is also a writer and executive producer, Craig Zobel, who directed the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro. Based on the characters created for DC by Bob Kane and Bill Finger, The Penguin is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Among the executive producers is Daniel Pipski.
