I’ve noticed that more and more people are starting to complain about the sound quality on Spotify. This is mainly due to testing other streaming platforms that offer better parameters in their top plans. Just check what Tidal or Apple Music offers. In terms of the quality of music played, Spotify seems to lag behind the rest of the pack.
It is therefore not surprising that the green giant is also planning to implement a subscription service to its service quality HiFi. Reports about the news have already appeared some time agoand now the company has decided to raise our expectations a bit. It will definitely be better, although certainly not cheap.
After publishing its latest financial report, Spotify decided to share its plans for the future. One of the most important upcoming novelties is the implementation of a new subscription plan, called “super-premium”. premium, but better – because with HiFi. What does this mean for users?
First of all, we can count on better sound. This one is intended to match the highest standards of other streaming platforms. But that’s not all, because better quality will also apply to videos displayed on the platform. There is also talk of expanding the use of artificial intelligence, and therefore more “smart” functions. These are working quite well so far.
Unfortunately, we still do not know the specific date of introduction of the new plan. Its premiere remains shrouded in mysterybecause Spotify itself probably doesn’t know when it will be ready to offer users a new type of subscription.
We also don’t know its price, although rumors suggest that it will be about $5 more expensive than the current variant. We can therefore expect that in Poland we will pay for 1 user within PLN 50 in a month.
