Hisense wants to enter the field of laser TVs and has now announced that it will put its recently introduced 150-inch laser TV into mass production.

Even though the device that Hinsense presented at the Laser Display Technology and Industry Development Conference 2024 in Qingdao, China, and at the last IFA in Berlin, is not actually a conventional television, Hisense now wants start mass production. The device, which consists of a short-throw projector and a 150-inch roll-up screen, is to be made available to the mass market.

The reason for this is that sales of particularly large TVs up to 100 inches have recently increased significantly. More and more manufacturers are moving into this area in terms of TV sizes. Sales of short-throw projectors have also increased, which underlines the desire of customers for a large projection surface.

It is not yet known when the 150-inch laser TV from Hisense will be launched and how much the device will cost. The combination device is supposed to be particularly bright and offer rich colors – without the room having to be darkened.
