Hite Jinro (CEO Kim In-gyu) announced on the 29th that it held a ‘Thanksgiving Snack Truck’ event for fire department officials during the month of November.

The ‘Thanksgiving Snack Truck’ event is one of the firefighter support programs that Hite Jinro has been running for 7 years after signing a business agreement with the National Fire Agency in 2018 to fulfill corporate social responsibility.

This year, we expressed our gratitude by providing snacks and drinks for a total of 460 people to four local fire departments in Chungju, Taean, Bonghwa, and Geoje. In addition, various gifts such as brass glasses, toad figures in firefighting uniforms, and spooners were provided through the giveaway event.

Kim In-gyu, CEO of Hite Jinro, said, “As firefighters carry out their arduous duties every day, I hope that this appreciation snack truck event will provide a little comfort and reach their hearts of support.” He added, “As a company for the next 100 years, we will continue to work hard for firefighters and the local community.” “We will do our best to contribute to and fulfill our social responsibilities.”

Meanwhile, Hite Jinro, which signed a business agreement with the National Fire Agency in 2018 to ‘improve the treatment of families of firefighters and raise public safety awareness,’ is continuing its sponsorship project with the National Fire Agency. We carry out programs for bereaved families of firefighters every year, such as ▲operating a snack truck to thank fire departments across the country, ▲holding healing camps, ▲supporting sports competitions, encouraging current firefighters, ▲supporting emergency living expenses, ▲supporting legal fees for recognition of death in the line of duty, and ▲holding healing camps for bereaved families.

During the month of November, Hite Jinro held a ‘Thanksgiving Snack Truck’ event for public officials from fire departments in four regions: Chungju, Taean, Bonghwa, and Geoje.
