HiteJinro (CEO Kim In-gyu) announced on the 9th that it will be selling ‘Ilpoom Jinro 24 Year Old Cask Strength (hereinafter Ilpoom Jinro Cask Strength)’, which was released on the 3rd, through a raffle on the limited edition trading platform KREAM.
We have planned an online raffle to provide consumers who wish to own Ilpoom Jinro Cask Strength, of which there are only 1,000 bottles in Korea, with the opportunity to purchase it.
KREAM will provide purchase vouchers to 100 customers through a raffle among consumers who pre-ordered for 48 hours from 11 AM on the 10th. The raffle will be held on the 12th (Thursday), and winners can visit the ‘KREAM Hongdae’ store in Mapo-gu, Seoul from the 12th to pick them up in person. (KREAM holds a liquor sales license.)
The recently released Ilpoom Jinro Cask Strength is an ambitious work that Hite Jinro has put a lot of effort into to celebrate its 100th anniversary this year. Cask Strength is a brewing technique that uses the original liquor aged in oak barrels without adding water during the final bottling stage.
Ilpoom Jinro Cask Strength is a 38.5-degree premium distilled soju that has been aged for 24 years and finished in oak casks of premium wine ‘Silver Oak’ to bring out its diverse aromas. It is characterized by being bottled directly without dilution, allowing you to fully experience the deep flavor of the ‘original liquid’.
The product package of Ilpoom Jinro Cask Strength emphasizes the presence of the spirit by enlarging the signature design black square bottle to 1 liter, and brings out the traditional beauty with the mother-of-pearl design. In addition, the value of the super premium limited edition is increased by including two glasses exclusively from ‘Glencarirn’, a famous Scottish crystal glass brand, in a wooden box case embroidered with handmade mother-of-pearl.
HiteJinro Marketing Office Managing Director Oh Seong-taek said, “As a leading domestic liquor company, HiteJinro is raising the status of distilled soju,” and “We will continue to take the lead in establishing a diverse lineup through continuous research and development.”
