HiteJinro (CEO Kim In-gyu) announced on the 29th that it supplied and sold a total of 90,000 bottles of Terra Light at the 2024 Jeonju Beer Festival held for three days from the 25th to the 27th. This is an increase of approximately 10,000 bottles compared to last year and the largest sales volume ever.

The Jeonju Beer Festival, in which HiteJinro has participated as a special sponsor for the past 10 years, has established itself as a representative domestic beer festival where one can taste beer produced on the day at the HiteJinro Jeonju Plant and various Jeonju beer snacks.

The 2024 Jeonju Gamaek Festival, which has grown every year and was held on the largest scale this year, was enjoyed by approximately 120,000 domestic and international tourists over three days. Representative Gamaek restaurants in Jeonju selected through preliminary screening <전일갑오>, <슬기네가맥> About 30 places participated, providing a variety of food, and about 300 volunteer hostesses helped ensure the festival ran smoothly.

Hite Jinro operated a ‘beer pond’ filled with numerous ice cubes for the festival visitors and supplied the newly produced Terra Light, providing a fresh and cool taste. In addition, it provided a variety of attractions such as drone shows, fireworks, K-POP dance performances, and DJ club parties, and increased the satisfaction of the festival with fun things such as issuing So-Maek certificates, an instant photo booth, and tattoo stickers.

This year, the venue was set up to accommodate approximately 10,000 people, 1.5 times larger than last year, and mobile restrooms and a remote ordering system using QR codes were prepared to maximize convenience for visitors, which received good reviews.

HiteJinro Marketing Office Managing Director Oh Seong-taek said, “HiteJinro, celebrating its 100th anniversary, is delighted to be able to participate in the Jeonju Beer Festival, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, once again this year. We will participate in various beer festivals this summer,” adding, “As Korea’s leading general liquor company, we will continue to strive to become a company that can coexist with the region and contribute to economic revitalization.”
