Activist Carlos Eduardo Pereira was one of the first congressmen to speak at Forum Braga, where the 42nd PSD Congress takes place this weekend. WHe began by criticizing the PS leader, but dedicated a large part of his intervention to arguing that the PSD must recover voters from Chega.
“Most of these rebels are ours and we have an obligation to get them”, stated the congressman for whom Chega, which he did not name and only designated as the party to the right of the PSD, is “a one-man party surrounded by second figures who are nothing more than pieces to fill the board”. Regarding the leader of the PS, he said that Pedro Nuno Santos “speaks as if he had never been in the Government” and that it is necessary to remember that the current leader of the PS was Minister of Infrastructure and that he had to resign following the compensation to Alexandra Reis, showing “an absolute disregard for the State’s money”. The night was already long, and the topic would come up again with a congressman saying that if the PS saved a lot of things, it was at the expense of taxpayers. Proof?
