MATERIALS

1/2 cup cold milk (preferably whole milk)

1 glass of oil (sunflower or olive oil)

1 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of granulated sugar

1 teaspoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon mustard (optional, to add flavor)

HOW TO MAKE

Put cold milk in a bowl where you will use a blender or hand mixer. Add oil on top.

Start whisking at high speed. The mixture will thicken quickly and have the consistency of mayonnaise. This process usually takes 1-2 minutes.

After it thickens, add salt, sugar, lemon juice (or vinegar) and mustard. Whisk for a short time to ensure that the ingredients are completely mixed.

Taste and add more lemon juice, vinegar or salt if you wish.

Transfer the mayonnaise you prepared into a glass jar. Store in the refrigerator and consume within 4-5 days.
