HomePod with display and Apple Intelligence will be released in 2025

Reputable journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg reported that Apple is preparing two versions of HomePod with a display at once – code names J490 (budget) and J595 (more expensive).

The cheap model will be released in 2025. It will have a simpler screen than the expensive one. In addition, the J595 will feature a robotic arm and a larger display. Both devices will support Apple Intelligence and run on the homeOS operating system.

Gurman believes that homeOS is more of a rebranding of tvOS, which underlies the new operating system. The journalist clarified that the expensive version of HomePod will cost more than $1000.

Previously, 9to5Mac reported that the new products will receive an A18 chip for AI, a square screen, a camera for FaceTime, and will also be able to recognize various hand gestures. (9to5)
