Honda Culture Indonesia, A Form of Appreciation for Honda Loyalists

DAPURPACUID – PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) plans to hold a grand gathering event for the Honda car community, packaged in an event themed ‘Honda Culture Indonesia’.

This event is designed as a form of manufacturer appreciation for consumer loyalty, as well as to celebrate its existence for 75 years globally and 50 years in Indonesia.

This event is scheduled to bring together the entire Honda community from various models and generations, packaged in various activities such as modifications, contests and car shows.

Communication Strategy Sub-Division Head of PT HPM, Yulian Karfili said, Honda’s long history in Indonesia has given birth to many independently formed communities, while also creating Honda’s unique character and culture in Indonesia.

“Through Honda Culture Indonesia which will be held later, we want to give awards to Honda loyalists and make the car scene in Indonesia shine again,” he added at the Honda booth, Saturday.

Yulian also admitted that their presence (community) was due to Honda’s consistency in providing quality products and meeting the needs of its users, ultimately giving birth to loyalty and attachment between users and Honda cars.

HPM noted that up to now, 28 Honda car communities have been formed, which have developed independently with more than 16,000 members spread across various regions in Indonesia.

Honda Culture Indonesia is planned to be held in three different big cities starting in September 2024, with three main agendas, namely KopDar Lintas Komunitas, Honda Car Show and Honda Heritage.

The event will also be packaged in an attractive way by presenting various aftermarket exhibitions, entertainment, and various culinary delights.

Interestingly, Honda Culture Indonesia will also collaborate with the Indonesia Modification & Lifestyle Expo (IMX) 2024, which is the largest automotive modification and lifestyle contest in Indonesia.

At the event, there were various activities with the community, including the Honda Modification Contest which was held for the first time at the event.

Yulian said that the community was formed from his love for Honda and intense interaction between users which encouraged the creation of a unique culture and character.

“The culture that was created includes KopDar, car modification, and a culture of caring for Honda cars across generations,” he concluded. (dpid/DB)
