Honda e:N1 First Electric Car For Indonesian Market

DAPURPACUID – PT Honda Prospect Motor introduced its latest electric SUV models at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) held at ICE BSD, from 18-28 July 2024. One of them is the Honda e:N1, which was introduced as Honda’s first electric car to be marketed in Indonesia.

The Honda e:N1 is planned to be launched in Indonesia in 2025. Previously, this electric SUV car was marketed in China and Europe in 2023, and then launched in Thailand in early 2024. In addition to prioritizing a powerful and environmentally friendly electric engine, the Honda e:N1 also carries various leading technologies such as Honda SENSING and Honda CONNECT.

At this year’s GIIAS, Honda also showcased the Honda STEP WGN e:HEV, which is Honda’s Upper MPV car that uses the latest efficient, powerful, and environmentally friendly hybrid technology. The Honda STEP WGN e:HEV is a development of the legendary STEP WGN model that has been marketed in Japan since 1996. The appearance of the Honda STEP WGN e:HEV is Honda’s initiative to continue studying consumer needs in various segments in Indonesia.

Not only that, Honda also presents two concept models, namely the SUSTAINA-C Concept and the Honda Pocket Concept for the first time in the Southeast Asia region. These two concept products are mobility products in the form of electric cars and small electric motorbikes, which are designed to allow users to travel anywhere easily, cleanly, while providing pleasant performance and appearance. Not only is it carbon-free, this concept model is also made using environmentally friendly recycled acrylic resin.

As part of Honda’s vision for a broader eco-friendly mobility solution, Honda also showcased the Honda Motocompacto. This product is a compact scooter that offers practicality in terms of mobility with a sleek, foldable and emission-free design. All visitors can experience firsthand the attractive experience of riding the Honda Motocompacto during GIIAS 2024.

Not only showcasing the latest electrification technology, at this year’s GIIAS Honda also presents various product lines that have become favorites of consumers in Indonesia. Carrying the theme “Dreams in Motion”, Honda cars are presented along with interesting displays and activities that show the lifestyle of their users, as well as stories from many consumers who have used Honda cars in various activities and their daily lives.

In addition to the Honda Brio, in this area there is also the Honda City Hatchback RS which now comes with the New Premium Audio System from JBL which provides clearer sound and for consumers on the go.

Moving to the next area, the Honda WR-V is displayed in a photo studio that depicts the life of “hustlers” or career fighters in achieving their dreams and aspirations. Not only seeing the car, visitors in this area can also take part in interesting activities, namely the instax photo challenge. Visitors can also take pictures to capture warm moments with their families when visiting the New Honda BR-V N7X Edition display. The area for this Honda family car is attractively designed with a design like a modern family picnic area, depicting its character as a 7-seater car that is suitable for traveling with family but still presents a stylish design.

Showcasing other stylish car characters, the Honda HR-V display area is designed like a fashion gallery with various interactive installations that visitors can enjoy. At this year’s GIIAS, the Honda HR-V, which has become an icon of stylish cars, appears different with Mugen accessories that give a sportier and more aggressive impression to its exterior and interior.

The display area of ​​All New Honda CR-V RS e:HEV and All New Honda Accord RS e:HEV illustrates the next level of achievement in consumer life and in terms of product technology. Both of Honda’s flagship products carry advanced hybrid technology that is efficient, environmentally friendly, and provides a worry-free feeling on every trip. In this area, visitors can also participate in a fun Mini Golf game and have the opportunity to win attractive prizes.

Adding to the excitement at the booth, this time Honda collaborated with Hot Wheels to display various activities and legendary Honda diecast products. In this area, the legendary Honda Civic Type R model is displayed which is similar to the Hot Wheels version. At this GIIAS event, Hot Wheels will also launch a special edition of one of Honda’s legendary models on July 20, 2024.

Visitors to the Honda booth can also learn more about various advanced technologies such as Honda CONNECT, and Honda SENSING’s leading safety technology, to after-sales services such as Honda e-Care through various interactive installations. In addition, visitors can also enjoy various drinks from the Honda Dreams Café in collaboration with Dua Coffee, which this time is present through the concept of a mobile coffee shop using the Honda N-VAN electric car.
