The latest version of the user interface MagicOS 9.0 based on the operating system version Android 15 and supplemented with advanced artificial intelligence functions, arrived for the first time in October of this year. Honor Magic V3, the thinnest smartphone with a flexible display in the world, was the first to receive it on the Chinese market.
It is gradually coming to other Honor devices, while owners of last year’s slim Honor Magic V2 in Slovakia also recently received the new user interface.
Advanced artificial intelligence functions integrated into the system
Among the most important ones AI news includes recognition of text and images by circling an object on the screen, an AI fader removes unwanted objects from a photo, and there is an AI translator that enables real-time translations and supports multiple interaction methods.
The function received improvements Magic Portal a Magic Capsulewhich are optimized to simplify everyday tasks. Magic Portal enables easy access to services based on user intent. We wrote in detail about the new features of MagicOS 9.0 in this article.
The installation package has the size almost 4 GBso we recommend using a stable and fast Wi-Fi connection to download it. Usually, the phone will announce the availability of a new system installation by itself, but if you haven’t registered the notification, you can check it through Settings -> System and updates -> Software update -> Check for updates.
In addition to the foldable smartphone Honor Magic V2, the new MagicOS 9.0 system is also planned for the flagship model Honor Magic6 Pro. However, we do not yet have information about its availability in Slovakia.
