A visit to the Crestron Experience Space in Frankfurt provides insight into Crestron’s technology and at the same time offers the opportunity to experience the aesthetics and functional integration of this technology live into Holzmedia’s furniture. The Crestron Experience spaces and showrooms offer visitors a taste of the latest control technology in a fully immersive environment – with a striking effect of the rooms through the media spatial solutions.
Holzmedia GmbH, a specialist in the media technology furnishing of conference and meeting rooms, equipped the Crestron Experience Space in Frankfurt with media furniture. Complete room solutions are presented there, which combine high-quality technical components with premium furniture.
And this is both functional, with mostly daily use, but also in terms of the charisma of the rooms.
The core competence of Holzmedia is the conception and realization of furniture for media technology, some of which are impressively implemented in different rooms in the Crestron Experience Space. One focus is the Elements concept from Holzmedia with its different product lines and individual scalability for correspondingly large displays.
A mobile media stele W8 in lava black with a large 98″ display and integrated Crestron VC-SB1-CAM is in use in the open space. The premium lectern X3, also used there, has a clear design and a high level of functionality, adapted to the requirements of the auditorium.
The meeting room is equipped with a white, wall-mounted W8 media stele with a 55″ display and the C12 conference table. This trapezoidal table is particularly suitable for VC rooms and has a particularly reflective “WhitePlex” surface, which reflects ambient light particularly softly back onto the people at the table.
In the Huddle Room there is a wall-mounted UC display stele W6 with a 55″ display and a side table in a light trapezoid shape for up to three people – both in lava black. This modular system is designed specifically for small to medium-sized rooms and the integration of UC systems. The height-variable display attachment enables perfect conditions for working while standing or sitting and can be wall-mounted, in front of glass walls or used freely in the room.
The board room includes the W8 media stele with two large 98″ displays for special VC requirements and the height-adjustable S1 media furniture with another 98″ display. In addition, the C12 conference table was selected for meetings in a rectangular shape and with a well-reflective surface.
The standard colors in the Elements concept are arctic white and lava black like the furniture on site, although most of the furniture can also be implemented in other colors. The table surfaces can generally be freely chosen.
The basis for today’s intensive, international collaboration between Crestron and Holzmedia initially formed the parallel involvement in the sustainable “partner network” aimed at the German market with other AV brands, in particular Fohhn, Shure, Wolfvision as well as Unilumin and Sharp /NEC and Epson, but also in the network of the media planner conference. What was initially a rather loose collaboration at customer and planner events turned into a trusting collaboration. And this will now be continued internationally – with both companies remaining and operating independently in terms of sales.

“Crestron has created truly extraordinary spaces with the “Experience Space” in Frankfurt. And the interaction of the technology in our media furniture makes it possible to experience a variety of spatial solutions in an impressive way. We are therefore grateful and happy that our furniture represents an essential part of the overall concept. And the consistently positive feedback from visitors confirms this and of course makes us very happy,” says Holzmedia managing partner Peter Möller.
The two partners invite experts to visit the site to experience live the interaction between furniture and technology and the workplace of the future. In addition to a visit, the Crestron Experience Space can also be used for events, meetings or events.
After furnishing the Crestron Experience Space in Frankfurt and receiving a lot of positive customer feedback, Holzmedia GmbH is now also equipping the Crestron showrooms internationally with media furniture.
