How hot will it be in September? Forecast announced for the first month of autumn

The month of September will be warm throughout the country, and the precipitation will be, in some places, excessive, the National Meteorological Administration announces.

Thus, in the week of 02.09.2024 – 09.09.2024, the thermal values ​​will be higher than those specific for this week, throughout the territory of Romania, but with a more pronounced positive thermal deviation in the western regions.

The rainfall regime will be deficient in the northern regions, and in the rest it will be generally close to the normal one for this interval.

Week 09/09/2024 – 16/09/2024

Average temperatures will be higher than normal for this period in all regions. With the exception of the northeastern regions, the amounts of precipitation will be excessive, especially in the southwest of the territory.

Week 16.09.2024 – 23.09.2024

The average air temperature will be slightly higher than normal for this period, throughout the country. The rainfall regime will have a slight excess trend in most regions.

Week of 23/09/2024 – 30/09/2024

Average thermal values ​​will be slightly above those specific for this range, in all regions.
Rainfall amounts will generally be close to normal for this period across the country.
