In four months, the German chancellor will no longer be called Olaf Scholz. And maybe he doesn’t even sit that long. Scholz is under heavy pressure to carry out a vote of confidence in the Bundestag as early as next week, which will mean that elections must be held in Germany by the beginning of February at the latest.
