Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that civil servants will receive a bonus of 641.81 TL as a Collective Agreement Bonus with the bill accepted in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) and became law.
Minister Işıkhan made the following statements in his statement: “In the 7th Term Public Collective Agreement, which we conducted on the basis of social dialogue with unions and confederations, we had achieved the collective agreement bonus gain for our civil servants. However, this gain was unfortunately cancelled when the CHP applied to the Constitutional Court. With the cancellation decision, there was a decrease in the salaries of our civil servants who benefited from the bonus. We always stand by the gains of our workers and civil servants.
How much is the collective agreement bonus for civil servants?
With the bill that was accepted by the TBMM General Assembly and became law, our unionized civil servants will receive a bonus of 641.81 TL as a Collective Agreement Bonus and all our unionized civil servants will be provided with this bonus. I would like to thank our People’s Alliance Deputies who contributed to the enactment of this bill.”
