How Suzuki Captivates the Hearts of Communities and Visitors at GIIAS 2024

DAPURPACUID – Suzuki’s booth at the 2024 GIIAS event was crowded with visitors thanks to the excitement presented, starting from the presence of the eVX electric car concept to various interesting programs including test drive activities.

4W Marketing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), Harold Donnel explained that the great attention from the public at GIIAS 2024 can be seen from the large number of visitors every day.

“They are very serious and thorough before buying a new car, even as one of the criteria is to try it first. The diversity of needs, we try to accommodate through 5-unit test drives,” said Harold, recently.

Meanwhile, according to Rizki, one of the visitors who came from Jakarta admitted to being amazed by the electric-powered concept car eVX, which Suzuki brought to GIIAS 2024.

Furthermore, besides the eVX that attracted attention, Rizki said that the minimalist and elegant atmosphere of the Suzuki booth further highlighted each unit that had captivated his heart.

“With the explanation from the salesperson, I became interested in the Grand Vitara. I plan to come again to try the hybrid SUV and the Jimny 5-door directly,” he said.

On the same day, Budi Setiawan when met at the booth was also interested in one of the environmentally friendly vehicle units, namely the New XL7 Hybrid, for reasons of fuel efficiency and relatively affordable purchase price.

“This car has complete features. Later, I will use the car as an operational car every day, to go to work from Depok to Bekasi, take the children to school, including going for a walk of course,” said Budi.

In addition to the Suzuki Hybrid, most visitors were also captivated by the Jimny 5-door, which was even recorded as the best-selling Suzuki test drive unit during the 7-day exhibition.

Ahmad Setiawan, who experienced the 4×4 SUV firsthand, expressed his interest in trying it because he had long wanted to buy it. When trying the car, everything was good and steady.

“I chose this car because of its masculine appearance, it happens to suit my needs which will later be used as a vehicle to check locations with less than good road conditions,” explained Ahmad.

Visit of 14 Suzuki Communities

Enthusiasm was not only seen from the visitors, but also thanks to the presence of 14 Suzuki communities who visited the booth in Hall 8, ICE BSD City, Tangerang, on July 20-21.

The automotive manufacturer headquartered in Pulo Gadung presents an unforgettable experience for community members who can directly feel the innovative atmosphere at the booth filled with the latest technology.

Head of 4W Brand Development PT SIS, Rendy Anggadiputra said that the community is an important forum for loyal Suzuki Indonesia customers.

“The success of the program and the popularity of Suzuki products are also inseparable from the active involvement of community partners. Therefore, we invite 14 Suzuki clubs and communities to come to GIIAS 2024,” he added.

“Their presence and participation often become an attraction for potential new customers thanks to the excitement and benefits that members get,” he added.

The biggest attention felt by the community was when they witnessed the eVX electric car concept firsthand, then participated in various exciting activities and even did a test drive.

Dozens of Suzuki communities are also active in various social, sports, humanitarian activities, and other events held.

Various activities carried out by members of the Suzuki community include taking part in offroad challenges using the Jimny remote control, capturing moments in a photobox, and test driving new cars.

Tri Winanto, a representative from the Ertiga Club Indonesia (ERCI), expressed his gratitude for Suzuki’s invitation to GIIAS 2024. He was very happy to be able to see firsthand the eVX concept car which has a modern and electrified design.

“We hope that Suzuki can also continue to develop and more people will choose vehicles from Suzuki,” said Tri Winanto.

Customers’ sense of pride in being part of a user community has grown as Suzuki has become more concerned with global environmental issues.
