Good intentions: almost all of us have them at the beginning of the year, but in most cases there is little left of them at the end of the year. The Apple Watch Series 10 will change that in 2025.
According to Apple, most New Year’s resolutions fail on the second Friday in January, as it highlights in the Quit Quitting commercial recently shared online. The cure for that habit? That is of course a product of Apple itself.
The American company states in the commercial that the Apple Watch Series 10 can ensure that you maintain your good intentions for 2025 next year.
How to keep your good intentions in 2025 with the Apple Watch
Although it is here concerns advertisingthere are certainly ways in which your Apple Watch can motivate you.
Start with some simple goals
It all starts with setting goals in the Fitness app on your Apple Watch. You can set the amount of calories, the number of minutes you do a workout or how many standing hours you need to achieve in a day.
The Apple Watch itself sets those goals at 320 calories, 30 minutes and 12 hours, but you can easily adjust them yourself.
watchOS 11 helps you with the intensity
If you do a workout with the Apple Watch on your wrist, it is good to know that you can also control the intensity of the workout. Since watchOS 11 it is possible to check how well you performed a certain workout and what impact it has on your body.
By monitoring the data from the past 28 days, the Apple Watch is able to control your current workout. For example, it tells you whether you are doing less well than normal or whether you are going too fast.
Apple Watch also measures your recovery
You can train yourself to death, but rest is just as important for progression as the workout itself. As soon as you hold your Apple Watch on your wrist while sleeping, it is not only checked whether you are actually getting enough rest during your night’s sleep.
The smartwatch also checks whether you are able to perform a certain workout or to what extent you can do it exactly. Have you just trained hard for a few days and are you not feeling completely fit? The Apple Watch monitors it and could use data to tell you how intensely you can train or even whether you should rest.
