How the voting was done in the settlements in Podgorica

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) won in the Podgorica elections, according to the preliminary results of the CDT, 24,309 votes, or 29.95 percent, which is 19 mandates, while the coalition of the Movement Europe Now and the Democrats won 17,672 votes, which is 21.77 percent. or 14 mandates.

The Coalition for the Future of Podgorica received 16,361 votes, which represents 20.16 percent, or 13 mandates in the capital’s parliament. Fourth in the number of votes is the coalition for a better Podgorica, which consists of the Movement for Podgorica and GP URA, and for which 8,538 citizens voted, i.e. 10.52 percent, which gives them six mandates in the local parliament.

The European Union won 4,411 votes, 5.4 percent or 3 mandates, followed by Reversal with 2,705 votes, 3.33 percent or 2 mandates in the Assembly of the Capital City. The Party of European Progress won 2,504 votes, which represents 3.08, that is, 2 mandates in the local Assembly.

According to the preliminary results, the Forward Movement was close to the census, which won 2,233 votes, i.e. 2.75 percent, then the Bosniak Party with 953 votes, i.e. 1.17 percent, the Montenegrin European Party got 573 votes, or 0.71 percent, while The Podgorica list won 515 votes or 0.63 percent. The tenants’ movement was rounded up by 226 citizens, or 0.28 percent, and the Montenegrin civic action was voted by 174 voters, which represents 0.21.

Voting by settlements

DPS won the most votes in large urban settlements, while in suburban settlements the coalition for the future of Podgorica was the strongest.

CDT grouped polling stations by settlements according to logic and not by official administrative lines. For example, in the Block category we grouped the polling stations located in blocks 5, 6 and 9, the Other category consists of Brskut, Barutana, Komani and other suburban settlements and villages, while in the Prison category the votes were counted from the remand prison, the prison in Spuz and Bijelo In the field.

At the polling stations in the center of Podgorica, DPS won the largest number of votes. That party in the center of Podgorica was rounded up by 1,438 citizens, or 38.49 percent, followed by the coalition of PES and the Democrats with 523 votes or 14 percent, and the third coalition Za budućnost Podgorica with 515 votes, or 13.78 percent. DPS is the strongest in Podgorica blocks 5, 6, 9 where it won 1,490 votes or 29.56 percent, while the coalition of PES and Democrats won 937 votes or 18.59 percent. Third is the coalition for the future of Podgorica with 783 votes or 15.54 percent. The coalition for a better Podgorica won 616 or 12.22 percent. In these blocs, the European Union received 483 votes or 9.58 percent, followed by the Revolution with 255 votes or 5.06 percent. The Party of European Progress won 182 votes or 3.61 percent in these settlements.

DPS is also the strongest at Stari aerodrome, where it won 2,245 votes, or 33.46 percent, followed by the coalition of PES and Democrats with 1,335 votes, or 19.9 percent, while the coalition for the future of Podgorica got 1,172 votes, or 17.47 percent. The coalition for a better Podgorica received 702 votes, or 10.46 percent, and the European Union 372 votes, or 5.54 percent. The Bosniak Party won 232 votes, or 3.46 percent, and the Party of European Progress 209 votes, or 3.12 percent, while Preokret won 190 votes, or 2.83 percent.

DPS Preko Morača won 3,784 votes or 32.23 percent, while the coalition of PES and Democrats won 2,013 votes or 17.15 percent of votes. For the future of Podgorica, she won 1,674 votes, which represents 14.26 percent.

The Coalition for a Better Podgorica won 1,400 votes in that neighborhood, which is 11.93 percent, followed by the European Union with 1,097 votes, which is 9.34 percent, and Preokret won 606 votes, or 5.16 percent. The Party of European Progress won 444 votes or 3.78 percent in Preko Morača.

DPS also won the most votes in Konik, where 3,987 voters or 52.56 percent voted. Behind them is the coalition for the future of Podgorica with 1,011 votes, or 13.35 percent, while the coalition of PES and Democrats on Konikuo won one less vote, or 1,010 votes, which is 13.34 percent. The coalition for a better Podgorica follows with 554 votes or 7.31 percent. The Party of European Progress got 220 votes or 2.9 percent in Konik, and the European Union got 212 votes or 2.8 percent. In this settlement, Uopret received 91 votes or 1.2 percent.

DPS the strongest in Durrës and Zabjelo, PES and Democrats in Zlatica and ZBCG in Zagorič

DPS is also the strongest in Zabjelo, where it won 2,701 votes or 27.86 percent. It is followed by the coalition of PES and the Democrats with 2,354 votes or 24.28 percent, while the coalition for the future of Podgorica is with 1,995 votes, which represents 20.58 percent of the votes. The alliance of supporters of Jakov Milatović and GP URA, i.e. the list Za bolja Podgorica na Zabjelo won 1,118 votes or 11.53 percent, and the European Union 426 votes or 4.39 percent. Uopret got 305 votes or 3.15 percent in Zabjelo, while the Party of European Progress got 234 votes or 2.41 percent.

The coalition of PES and the Democrats is the strongest in Zlatica, where it won 915 votes, or 33.59, while the coalition for the future of Podgorica got 884 votes, or 32.45 percent. DPS is third in this settlement with 377 votes, which represents 13.84 percent. The Coalition for a Better Podgorica received 215 votes, or 7.89 percent, followed by the Party of European Progress with 96 votes and 3.52 percent. The European Union won 66 votes in Zlatica, or 2.42 percent, Preokret got 36 votes in Zlatica, or 1.32 percent.

In Zagorič, the strongest coalition is Za budućnost Podgorica with 1,695 votes or 28.67 percent, followed by the coalition of PES and Democrats with 1,681 votes or 28.43 percent. DPS won 1,099 votes or 18.59 percent in Zagorič, while the Za bolja Podgorica coalition got 616 votes or 10.42 percent. In Zagorič, the European Union was supported by 211 voters, or 3.57 percent of them, and the Party of European Progress by 183 voters, or 3.1 percent. Upheaval in this settlement won 160 votes, or 2.71 percent.

DPS also got the most votes at polling stations in Durres, where it won 661 votes or 35.15 percent. The coalition for the future of Podgorica took 335 votes or 17.82 percent in Durrës, followed by the coalition of PES and Democrats with 326 votes or 17.34 percent, while the coalition for a better Podgorica got 2018 votes or 11.06 percent. The European Union received 87 votes in Durrës, or 4.63, and the Party of European Progress and Urokte had the same number of votes in this settlement – 71, which represents 3.78 percent.

PES and the Democrats are the strongest in Tološi, for the future of Podgorica in Maslini

The strongest coalition of PES and Democrats is in Tološi, which won 1,232 votes or 28.5 percent. The coalition for the future of Podgorica followed with 993 votes or 22.85 percent, while DPS won 973 votes or 22.39 percent. The Coalition for a Better Podgorica won 463 votes or 10.66 percent in Tološi, and the European Union won 201 votes or 4.63 percent. Uopret won 144 votes or 3.31 percent in Tološi and the Party of European Progress won 114 votes or 2.62 percent.

In Masline, the coalition for the future of Podgorica won 1,282 votes or 29.34 percent, followed by the coalition of PES and Democrats with 1,182 votes or 26.85 percent. DPS came third with 958 votes, representing 21.76 percent, followed by the coalition for a better Podgorica with 415 votes or 9.43 percent. 133 voters, or 3.02 percent of them, voted for the European Union in Maslini, followed by Peokret with 101 votes or 2.29 percent. The Party of European Progress won 74 votes or 1.68 percent in this settlement.

DPS received Baston, Peyton and Ljubović

In the neighborhoods around the former Velika Pijaca (Baston, Peyton) the best was DPS with 1,634 votes, which is 28.27 percent. The coalition for the future of Podgorica received 1,313 votes or 22.71 percent, followed by the coalition of PES and Democrats with 1,220 votes or 21.1 percent.

Behind them is the coalition for a better Podgorica with 651 votes or 11.26 percent. In those districts, the European Union won 267 votes or 4.62 percent, while Preokret got 246 votes, which is 4.26 percent. The Party of European Progress received 149 votes, which is 2.58 percent.

And in the polling stations around Ljubović, DPS won the most votes. That list was supported by 873 voters, which is 31.56 percent. The next is the coalition of PES and the Democrats with 568 votes or 20.54 percent, followed by For the Future of Podgorica with 453 votes or 16.38 percent. The coalition for a better Podgorica received 280 votes, 10.12 percent. The European Union received 172 votes or 6.22 percent, while 137 voters or 4.95 percent voted for Reversal. The European Progress Party won 91 votes or 3.29 percent in these settlements.

PES and the Democrats are the strongest in Donja and Gornja Gorica

The coalition of PES and Democrats won 372 votes or 29.59 percent in Gornja Gorica, while the coalition for the future of Podgorica won 313 votes or 24.9 percent in this settlement. DPS follows with 300 votes or 23.87 percent, and the coalition for a better Podgorica received 117 votes, which represents 9.31 percent. In Gornja Gorica, 42 voters or 3.34 percent voted for the Revolution, while 36 of them, or 2.86 percent, voted for the European Union. The Party of European Progress got 29 votes in Gornja Gorica, which is 2.31 percent.

PES and the Democrats are the strongest in Donja Gorica with 1,242 votes or 28.43 percent. In second place is the coalition for the future of Podgorica with 1,024 votes or 23.44 percent, the third place is DPS with 983 votes or 22.5 percent.

The Coalition for a Better Podgorica won 447 votes or 10.23 percent, and the European Union won 253 votes or 579 percent.

In Donja Gorica, 134 voters or 3.07 percent voted for the European Progress party, and 96 voters or 2.2 percent voted for Preokret.

In Dajbaba, the strongest party is the DPS, which won 231 votes, 29.96 percent, followed by the coalition for the future of Podgorica with 192 votes, or 24.9 percent, while PES and Democrats won 177 votes, or 22.96 percent. The Coalition for a Better Podgorica got 81 votes or 10.51 percent in Dajbabe, and the European Union got 28 votes or 3.63 percent. In this settlement, 20 citizens voted for the Party of European Progress, which is 2.59 percent, while 9 of them, or 1.17 percent, voted for Preokret.

In the villages and suburban settlements, the strongest coalition is Za budućnost Podgorica, which received 681 votes or 28.92 percent. The coalition of PES and Democrats received 577 votes or 24.5, followed by DPS with 552 or 23.44 percent. For a better Podgorica, she won 216 votes or 9.17 percent, and the Party of European Progress won 113 votes or 4.8 percent. The European Union was rounded up by 42 citizens or 1.78 percent of them in the suburban settlements and villages, while Preokret won 1.74 percent of the votes in the villages, or 41 votes.
