WhatsApp regularly gets small but useful new features. This is now also the case, because adding a person or group chat to your favorites is now possible. How that works, you can check in this tip.
WhatsApp: How Favorite Chats Work
The design of the popular chat app WhatsApp is regularly overhauled and at the top you will find several tabs for a while. This way you can quickly check your unread messages or group chats, but from now on you can also pin your favorite people and group conversations there.
This way you can quickly find specific contacts or chat groups to read along with or of course send a message.
- Open WhatsApp and the list of all your chat conversations;
- Press and hold a chat you want to add to your favorites;
- Tap the three dots at the top right and select ‘Add to Favorites’.
Then, if you tap the ‘Favorites’ tab at the top of WhatsApp, you will immediately see a list of all the contacts and groups that you have marked as favorites.
By the way, if you want to remove a chat from your favorites, press and hold the conversation again. Via the settings, choose ‘Remove from Favorites’. You can also choose ‘Manage Favorites’ in the Favorites tab at the bottom.
Then you can not only favorite your contacts, but also change the order of the list.
