In this season BOSS looks to Californiawhere he was inspired coastal towns and modern houses overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This mood, with the overlap of beaches and metropolitan life, gives us a fresh new Spring Summer 2019 collection for 2019, all based on a relaxed design atmosphere inspired by
freedom, beaches and surfing.
The color palette is cool and airy. Soft
reddish and pale blue are based on the colors of sartorial wine and navy. In addition, there is a lot of white here as a sign of the approaching summer after spring. Light brown, orange and deep yellow they bring a richness of color to the collection.
The cuts are clean
For both men’s and women’s fashion, the features and cuts of Boss pieces remain elegant and clean. Yet they are
relaxed with softened and light structures and airborne substances. Suits are made from cotton, while lightweight nylon coats and jackets have an unexpectedly sharp texture, as if exposed to drops of the sea.
Light skirts and satin dresses
Precise pleats appear on beautifully light skirts, while blouses and dresses are made of viscose and satin. Even knitwear gets a summer design in the form of sweaters made of almost transparent crumpled knitwear and fabric with cropped silhouettes.
Stripes and strings
Another new code of the Boss brand is stripes and laces in the collection. Trousers and blouses are tied with drawstrings, while outerwear perfectly combines sportiness and sartorialism, as they are produced in neoprene wool and hooded jackets are tailored in shiny nylon.
Shaped jackets are finished by hand, nylon and leather belts are cut and hand-stitched as a patchwork for outerwear and dresses. The garment is produced using an invisible edge seam, and has a modern and clean feel.
Men’s looks are complemented by rubber sneakers, while sandals for women are pleasantly light and usable both in the city and on the beach. And finally, faces are protected by wide-brimmed hats and colored sunglasses from the strong California sun. This is the Boos spring/summer 2019 men’s and women’s collection.
