In order to prevent dehydration, which can easily occur in the summer, it is very important to drink up to two liters of water a day. The amount of water taken can be higher depending on the level of physical activity. In addition to plain water, it is also recommended to drink water with a few drops of lemon or chilled herbal tea.

Coffee and alcohol should be avoided because they act as diuretics and further increase fluid loss.
