Huawei Mate 70: The CEO revealed the presentation date

The Huawei Mate 70 series is on its way, and now we know exactly when it will arrive, as Richard Yu, CEO of the CBG division, revealed.

According to his statements, the smartphones will arrive on November 26.

The executive did not divulge further details, but confirmed that a new luxury car brand called Maextro will also debut.

Yu revealed the date during an interview at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2024. The announcement comes as a surprise because Huawei Mobile’s social media accounts have not revealed anything related.

We expect the series to have at least four models, the Huawei Mate 70, Mate 70 Pro, Mate 70 Pro+ και Mate 70 RS Ultimate. All are expected to run HarmonyOS Next, Huawei’s first operating system, which is reportedly not based on an AOSP build.

The phones could also feature a new HiSilicon chip, named the Kirin 9100. Reports claim that it is manufactured on a 6nm node by SMIC and could be on par with the Snapdragon 888 or the Dimensity 9000.
