An interesting part of this event was the mention of Huawei as a leading company in the field of IoT and this is a big win for Huawei, showing its key role in the development of IoT technology.
Known for its powerful technology and fresh ideas, Huawei is a leader in the world of IoT and this top spot is a testament to her work and pushing IoT technology forward. The list includes big names like Qualcomm, Microsoft and SpaceX. From China, companies like China Unicom, China Telecom and China Mobile also made the list and all of them together are key players in the global IoT scene which is basically something new to all of us.
More than 150 companies from China are in the Top 500 list. Names like Gree, Haier, Lenovo and Baidu show the strength of China’s IoT industry. These companies are key to the development and dissemination of IoT technology both in China and around the world. Companies on the Top 500 list have a combined GDP of more than US$30 trillion. That’s half of the global IoT digital economy, and these particular companies are a major force in global economic growth.
He Xuming, head of the IoT World Congress, talked about the rapid development in technology and networks. He noted the transition from 5G to 6G, Starlink and quantum technology. These developments lead to smarter connections and new forms of networks and economy.
