Huawei Watch GT 5, Watch D2 and Ultimate Green introduced

Huawei presented new wearables at a launch event in Barcelona: the Huawei Watch GT 5 Series, the Huawei Watch D2 and the Huawei Watch Ultimate Green. What’s behind them? Let’s take a look.

The Huawei Watch GT 5 series is one of the first Huawei smartwatches to feature the Huawei TruSense system. The integrated health and fitness tracking function delivers faster, more accurate and more comprehensive results with an improved sensor and improved algorithms. The GT 5 will be available as a standard and a Pro Watch. The Pro Edition in the 46 mm version is made of an aerospace-grade titanium alloy, the 42 mm version is made of nano crystal ceramic.

The new smartwatches also have various sports functions. For golfers and divers, the GT 5 Pro (for testing) offers the golf course mode with over 15,000 maps of golf courses around the world, as well as the free diving mode, which is designed to enable more comprehensive monitoring of sports activities on the wrist. The Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro also has functions for trail running, such as support for the segmentation navigation function and a 10-meter contour map.

The smartwatch offers a battery life of up to 14 days for the Huawei Watch GT 5 46 mm and Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro 46 mm and up to seven days for the Huawei Watch GT 5 41 mm and Huawei Watch GT 5 Pro 42 mm. The Huawei GT 5 series is compatible with iOS and Android and can be connected via the Huawei Health app.

The Huawei Watch GT 5 series is now available at prices starting from 249 euros and the Watch GT 5 Pro Serie Available from 379 euros.

Huawei Watch D2 with blood pressure measurement

The Huawei Watch D2 is said to be a global innovation. According to Huawei, it is the first wrist-worn smartwatch with ambulatory blood pressure measurement (ABPM). This feature is certified by NMPA (National Medical Products Administration in China) and MDR (Medical Device Regulation).

The smartwatch offers 24-hour accurate blood pressure measurement and features the Huawei TruSense system for faster results. The Watch D2 (for testing) has an ultra-slim mechanical airbag and a 1.82-inch screen. This makes it not only lighter and slimmer than conventional electronic upper arm blood pressure monitors, but also makes blood pressure measurements easy to take anywhere. Users can also measure up to nine body indicators at the touch of a button and create a health overview report.

Die Huawei Watch D2 is available from 399 euros.

This is what the Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition can do

An update to last year’s version, the Huawei Watch Ultimate introduces the new Advanced Golf Course features and the improved Expedition Mode. The new Green Edition features a two-tone nano-tech ceramic bezel, which the manufacturer says requires a more complex manufacturing process. The result is a white-green color duo.

Die Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition is now available for 899 euros.
