Huawei will introduce an innovative folding tablet next year

Society Huawei due to US sanctions and the absence of Google applications in its smartphones, it no longer has as strong a position in the global market as it did years ago. However, it is doing well in China and has already gained a huge share of the folding equipment market there. In this segment, according to the portal HuaweiCentral is going to present next year innovative tablet.

Combination of folding tablet and PC

Society Huawei this year also presented one innovation among folding devices. Specifically, a foldable smartphone Huawei Mate XT Ultimate. It is unique in that it is the first smartphone with a flexible OLED display that folds into three parts. After unfolding, the user practically gains 10-inch tablet.

Now, some leakers on the Chinese social network Weibo claim that Huawei may unveil a dynamic folding tablet next year. Its price is supposed to be 10,000 Chinese yuan, which is converted to 1,300 euros. It is supposed to be a combination of a folding tablet and a PC with a large flexible display. More detailed information on how it should look structurally is not yet known.

For example Lenovo offers a device with a flexible display ThinkPad X1 Fold. When folded, a magnetic keyboard is attached over half of the display, and the device is a 12-inch notebook. After disconnecting the keyboard and unfolding the display, it becomes a 16.3-inch tablet. And together with the keyboard lying freely on the table and the tilting stand on the back of the tablet, it can be used as a desktop PC.

In the case of Lenovo, the operating system is Windows 11. However, Huawei will probably want to use its own system in its device HarmonyOS NEXTwhich, however, will have to be modified for desktop mode. We will find out what it will look like in a few months.
