Huge grant for the environment in the USA



In the US, $4.3 billion in grants were given to projects aimed at reducing climate pollution.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced that $4.3 billion will be provided in grants to finance projects to reduce climate pollution in 30 states.

In a statement made by the institution, it was noted that 25 projects selected in 30 states will be financed.

The statement said more than $4.3 billion in grants will be provided to implement solutions focused on combating the climate crisis, reducing air pollution, advancing environmental justice and accelerating America’s transition to clean energy.

The statement said the funds are planned to be distributed later this year after all legal and administrative requirements are met, and the projects are expected to reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 971 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent by 2050.
