The aim of the initiative is to more efficiently screen and treat one of the Hungarians’ national diseases.
Samsung has announced a strategic collaboration with the Hungarian healthcare provider Doktor24, as a result of which some users will be entitled to a free medical examination. The primary goal of the partnership is to promote digital features and personalized medical services for the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome.
According to statistics, metabolic syndrome – which includes several diseases affecting the metabolism – affects about a third of the adult population of Hungary. The metabolic disorder affects, among other things, fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and the most common symptoms are obesity and high blood pressure.
Thanks to the partnership announced at the recently held 2024 AI Summit Conference in Budapest, those who purchase devices participating in the initiative between September 26 and December 31, 2024 will receive a healthcare voucher worth HUF 70,000 along with the smartphones.

The voucher can be redeemed not only by the customer, but also by a family member or colleague for the health package offered by Doktor24, which includes laboratory tests, evaluation of the results, dietary consultation, and the organization of personalized medical services that specifically support the fight against metabolic syndrome .
