Hungarian schoolchildren are represented with several inventions at the Maker Faire in Rome –

The AKG Robotics team will present two creative inventions at the international event, but the Bánkirobot Team from Nyíregyháza will also be present.

It operates within the ranks of the Alternative High School of Economics, or AKG AKG Roboticswhich tries to make robotics interesting for young people with a number of exciting projects, sometimes with the help of LEGO or 3D printing, for example.

The Maker Faire in Rome is a showcase of home DIY projects and simple but impressive inventions, which this year will be held on October 25-27. will be held between AKG Robotics will also exhibit two projects: an interactive whiteboard and a smart wallet.

The interactive whiteboard made of affordable components aims to make geography lessons and mathematics learning more exciting. It is portable and easy to assemble, and students can interactively learn about topography and solving mathematical problems with the help of sensors and display technologies.

Of course, the smart pot helps keep plants alive, its sensors monitor soil moisture, temperature, and light, and then inform us about the well-being of our plant through a user-friendly mobile application. The app gives tips, sends notifications and can help many of us.

The Bánkirobot Team, made up of students from the Bánki Donát Technical Secondary School in Nyíregyháza, would produce energy with piezoelectric materials: the piezoelectric energy field generates electricity from the wind.
