Hyundai unveiled the most powerful version of the Ioniq 5 about a year ago. Now, the Korean manufacturer is announcing improvements to the performance electrics.

N Drift Optimizer, the program that helps the Ioniq 5 N during controlled drifts, can now be configured by choosing one of 10 available assistance levels. If you select gear 10 (Pro), the electric model acquires a clear oversteer behavior, for spectacular drifts. In addition, the system can now better detect the right drifting conditions, which Hyundai assumes will only be on a race track.

There is also something called Downshift Memory. For example, cars will now automatically lock when the driver moves a certain distance away, and the Vehicle 2 Load feature becomes available.
