Hyundai Department Store Group’s 10 listed affiliates, including Hyundai Department Store and Hyundai Home Shopping, received an ‘integrated A grade or higher’ for two consecutive years since last year.

Hyundai Department Store Group announced on the 25th that in the 2024 ESG evaluation conducted by the Korea ESG Standards Service (KCGS), 10 of the 12 listed affiliates subject to evaluation received an integrated grade of A or higher. There are 10 affiliates that received an integrated A grade or higher, including the holding company Hyundai GF Holdings, Hyundai Department Store, Hyundai Home Shopping, Handsome, Hyundai Livart, Zinus, Hyundai Futurenet, Hyundai Easy Well, Hyundai Everdigm, and Hyundai Bioland.

By affiliate, three affiliates, including Hyundai Department Store, Hyundai Home Shopping, and Hyundai Easywell, received an A+ rating. In particular, Hyundai Department Store is the only department store in the department store industry to receive an integrated A+ rating for two consecutive years, and Hyundai Home Shopping and Hyundai Easywell, which received an integrated A rating last year, achieved an integrated A+ rating for the first time this year.

Seven affiliates, including Hyundai GF Holdings, Handsome, Hyundai Livart, Zinus, Hyundai Everdigm, Hyundai Futurenet, and Hyundai Bioland, received an A grade. Daewon Steel and Samwon Steel, which were newly incorporated as group affiliates last year, had their ESG ratings raised from the previous year. Daewon Steel and Samwon Steel received an integrated C grade and an integrated B grade, respectively, last year, but both rose to an integrated B+ grade this year.
