Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced that it will present a special landscape design unique to Hannam District 4 that combines nature and art through collaboration with world-class masters.
Hannam District 4 will showcase original landscape art in collaboration with France’s representative sculptor Xavier Veilhan. Xavier Bayhan is a contemporary artist who has held solo exhibitions at leading art museums around the world, including the Center Pompidou and Palace of Versailles in France, and Hartfield in England.
Xavier Bayan’s ‘Golden Carriage’, which will be installed in Hannam District 4, is a ‘golden carriage running on water’ and will be installed in the central plaza located in the center of the complex.
The landscaping of Hannam District 4 focuses on enriching the lives of residents through not only artwork but also various themed spaces. The ‘Grand Water Terrace’, which utilizes a 5m level difference to harmonize the terraced waterway and garden within the complex, creates a majestic scenery and provides visual and auditory healing to residents.
‘Infinity River Lounge’ is a space designed to enjoy the view of the Han River at the same time, and the antique old tree floating on the water acts as a work of art, providing a classy space. The ‘Honors Lounge’, which is the entrance for vehicles and pedestrians, is harmonized with beautiful trees that symbolize the complex and water features, inspiring pride in the complex.
In addition, ‘Crystal Lake’, which resembles a lake, is a waterscape space located in the center of Hannam District 4, creating a scenery with flowing melodies.
In addition, it provides an environment where you can enjoy the changes of the four seasons through a 2.6 km long circular trail where you can enjoy the 130 species of trees within the complex.
