Hyundai Home Shopping joins unique social contribution project led by young people < Distribution < Article

Hyundai Home Shopping announced on the 13th that it had successfully completed its activities as a partner company in the ‘Youth ESG Planning Volunteer’ project hosted by the Seoul Volunteer Center.

The Youth ESG Planning Volunteer Program is a social contribution project that has been operated by the Seoul Volunteer Center since 2021.

In addition to its own ESG business, Hyundai Home Shopping signed a youth ESG planning service agreement with the Seoul Volunteer Center early this year to strengthen win-win management by utilizing external partnerships. Afterwards, it reviewed the activity plans of participants who wished to pursue business with Hyundai Home Shopping and selected 20 young people. Since May, it has supported various activities planned by them, such as ‘support for daily necessities for elderly households,’ ‘campaign to raise awareness of ugly fruits,’ and ‘eco-friendly recycling clothing exhibition.’

Specifically, Hyundai Home Shopping donated direct-purchased products such as tumblers and eco-friendly woks to be used as giveaways for visitors to the ugly fruit awareness campaign and eco-friendly clothing exhibition, and also provided a mentoring program by Hyundai Home Shopping ESG managers.

At the completion ceremony of the ‘Youth ESG Planning Volunteer Program’ hosted by the Seoul Volunteer Center and held at the Dinoche Convention in Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 12th, Hyundai Home Shopping employees are taking a commemorative photo with the young people who participated in the volunteer activity.
