Hyundai’s smallest electric car has a starting price of €24,295 in the Netherlands. The Hyundai Inster is available as E-Motion, Pulse, Evolve and as Evolve Sky. Regardless of the chosen engine version, the Inster has optical decoration such as black plastic wheel arch edges and – with a little imagination – bumper work with a cross-like appearance. Hyundai now comes with a variant of the Inster that goes a step further in terms of adventure. This is the Hyundai Inster Cross, a version that the Koreans themselves describe as “(…) a cool outdoor variant.” You can recognize the Inster Cross by its front bumper with a significantly larger silver-colored part. We see something similar in the new rear bumper. The Hyundai Inster Cross has black decoration around the sills, stands on special 17-inch alloys and even has skid plates at the front and rear. Roof racks? From the party. A ‘roof basket’ that you can place on top is optional. Is the Hyundai Inster Cross coming to the Netherlands? That is still the question. According to Hyundai, the Inster Cross is ‘not yet part’ of the line-up. For now, indeed. So it cannot be ruled out that it is coming our way.
