Hyundai Inster will be the brand’s smallest electric car

The Hyundai Inster is a new small Korean crossover for the city. It is finally coming to Europe, after already being known in Korea under the name Casper. With an original design and – despite the length of only 3.82 meters – the interior is worthy of a higher category car.

The first thing that catches the eye is the instrument panel, which contains various physical controls for air conditioning and calling up the main menus of the infotainment system, as well as buttons for activating seat heating and a parking camera.

Behind the steering wheel, which has four luminous LEDs in the middle, is the first of the two screens of the infotainment system. Both are 10.25 inches diagonally.

In general, everything is designed with an emphasis on “practicality”, but with very rich equipment, which includes wireless smartphone charging and various USB ports.

The spaciousness of the interior in the new Hyundai Inster is worthy of a car of a higher category, including the general interior equipment.

When asked whether the length of 3.82 meters is enough for four adults to sit comfortably and to carry some luggage, the answer is yes.

Despite its length of only 3.82 meters, the luggage space is at least 238 liters, which increases to 351 liters when the rear seat is moved forward. If both backrests are fully folded, you get a flat loading surface and an impressive 1,059 liters of trunk volume.

We hope that the Hyundai Inster will reach our market, where it should compete with other electric models of the A segment with all its compact dimensions.
