DAPURPACUID – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia continues to strive to provide convenience to consumers in owning Hyundai cars, including electric vehicles.
The convenience provided is in the form of providing a wider range of vehicle battery charging outlets and increasingly reaching all corners of the country.
For this reason, in conjunction with the 2024 GIIAS event, Hyundai Motors Indonesia signed a cooperation agreement with a number of Charging Point Operator (CPO) partners.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is a strategic step for Hyundai to strengthen the company’s position as a game changer and leader of electrification in the Indonesian automotive industry.
Through this series of collaborations, Hyundai will build an ecosystem by adding more than 400 charging stations to Hyundai’s charging network.
That way, Hyundai electric car owners can utilize around 97% of private charging stations or the equivalent of more than 600 charging stations throughout Indonesia through the myHyundai application.
Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia, Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, acknowledged that the application of electric vehicles continues to grow, including in Indonesia.
Therefore, Hyundai ensures that customers can enjoy the products, services and infrastructure they need, including easily accessible charging stations.
“Thus, we are pleased to be able to collaborate with more CPO partners to bring renewable mobility closer to consumers at large,” said the man who is familiarly called Frans.
“This strategic step also emphasizes Hyundai’s position as a game changer in the automotive industry, which consistently innovates to accelerate vehicle electrification in Indonesia,” he said.
In this collaboration, a number of CPO partners include Casion, Voltron, Daya Green, Charge+, and Buzz, completing the list of Hyundai partners in developing a wide charging station network in Indonesia.
The partners include Lippo Malls Indonesia and Pakuwon Malls Group. Hyundai is also working with Plaza Indonesia to present the first Ultra Fast Charging Station facility in Indonesia.
EV Charging Service Program
For your information, as part of the complementary expansion efforts above, Hyundai is also holding an EV Charging Service Program for buyers of its electric cars.
In this program, customers can enjoy benefits in the form of a public charging quota of up to 50 kWh/month for 1 year, which can be used on Hyundai’s EV Public Charging Network.
To enjoy the public charging quota, customers can access the myHyundai application, or use the EV charging card provided.
This program will start to be implemented at GIIAS 2024. So, customers who purchase Hyundai EV during GIIAS 2024 can immediately claim these benefits.
The EV Charging Service Program will also continue after GIIAS 2024, where the public charging quota received can be used effectively starting August 2024.
Hyundai’s strategic collaboration with CPO partners complements the company’s breakthrough in providing a worry-free electric vehicle ownership experience, both in terms of products and services.
Previously, Hyundai has introduced the all-new KONA Electric as the first electric vehicle to use locally produced batteries, at the PT Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Indonesia factory, Deltamas, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java.
On the other hand, the after-sales service innovation titled ‘Hyundai is Here for You: Hyundai Guards, Hyundai Guarantees’ has also expanded its benefits for Hyundai EV users. (dpid/TH)
