DAPURPACUID – PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) confirmed that it will soon launch the All New Tucson to the Indonesian automotive market, and fill the sport utility vehicle (SUV) C segment.
For this reason, as of November 12, PT HMID officially opened the pre-booking period for the newest car to prospective consumers at all official Hyundai dealers in Indonesia.
For the Indonesian market, HMID will present two powertrain options, namely Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), as well as a petrol Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) engine option.
The launch of the All New Tucson marks the presence of the second Hyundai hybrid model in Indonesia, which will soon greet consumers in the near future.
“We are very enthusiastic to announce the start of the pre-booking period for the all-new Tucson,” said HMID President Director, Ju Hun Lee, in a written statement.
“The launch of this car completes Hyundai’s SUV line, as well as being the second type of hybrid car presented in Indonesia,” he emphasized further.
On the other hand, according to HMID Chief Operating Officer, Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, the SUV-C market in Indonesia is experiencing significant growth where this vehicle is increasingly in demand by consumers.
This condition cannot be separated from the encouragement of increasing consumer demand for vehicles that are stylish, technologically advanced and offer comfort to their users.
“We also present the all-new Tucson to answer the increasing demand from consumers in Indonesia,” added the man who is familiarly called Soerjo.

This new SUV offers a more stylish exterior design with parametric jewel hidden signature LED lamps. The modern feel of the cabin stands out thanks to the panoramic curved display with a 12.3 inch curved multimedia infotainment system.
Not to forget, the ventilated seats and 8-way power adjustable seats feature will ensure that all passengers experience a comfortable journey.
The All-New Tucson is claimed to be different from SUV-C models in general thanks to its longer wheelbase dimensions, so the interior is more spacious.
This car is equipped with a number of other innovative features, such as Hyundai E-Motion Drive which makes control more responsive and also Baby Mode Drive.
