I am pessimistic about the Tallinn Stock Exchange

The Tallinn Stock Exchange has been stagnating for two years now. During this time, no significant events occurred, which greatly affected patriotic Estonian investors, said investor, scientist and teacher Tõnn Talpsepp.

“If you look at the US indices and compare with what happens with the Tallinn Stock Exchange index or individual stocks, I did not find such returns,” Talpsepp explained.

In his opinion, there is also nothing positive in the Estonian economy, and it is difficult to imagine that the situation will improve in the near future, especially against the backdrop of higher taxes, proximity to a war zone and the reluctance of foreign investors to come to the country.

Unlike investor Lev Dolgachev, who sold his entire position in the Nasdaq index, Talpsepp has no plans to divest from US stocks or indices.

The investor also talked about where growth points can now be found, what his portfolio consists of, and which shares of the Tallinn Stock Exchange are worth holding or even purchasing.
