“I don’t sleep in the summer”, the political version

“As a rule, in the summer, during the holidays, evaluations are made, there is more time,” explains Vasile Dâncu. Therefore, reshuffles are being prepared in the Government, and Vasile Dâncu makes the announcement.

He says about Prime Minister Ciolacu that he is “too gentle with his ministers”, but that some of them could be dismissed from autumn.

“As a rule, in the summer, during the vacation, evaluations are made, there is more time, and in September the work of the ministers is discussed. We have, and we, and our liberal partners, certainly at the beginning of September we have meetings with the parliamentary groups, with the Government, in which analyzes are made not only of the parliamentary activity, but also of the Government’s activity, the legislative program and the program are made executive for autumn (…). He is very gentle with the ministers, from time to time he warns them, he could be even tougher, but for sure we may see some reshuffles this autumn”, declared Vasile Dîncu, on a TV station.

Regarding the presidential elections, the PSD senator says that on August 24, after the PSD congress, the party will clearly announce who the candidate is: “Of course, at this moment Marcel Ciolacu probably has a very well-developed strategy and will announce at the right time if will run or if he won’t run and who is the candidate we support, but we will discuss that in a very well-defined political moment, our congress”.
