The President of USR, Elena Lasconi, thanked those who voted for her in the first round of the presidential elections and promised that she would do everything to meet the expectations of those who supported her.

“To all those who voted for me, thank you for your mobilization and trust. Your vote was not for me, but for you, for your future and those you love. I promise that I will give everything to rise to your expectations,” Lasconi wrote on Facebook on Monday.

The USR candidate, Elena Lasconi, came second in the electorate’s preferences, according to provisional data published in real time on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority, after the centralization of 20,045 minutes (99.93%) out of 20,059.
