Answering questions from Postimees journalists about the change of power in Narva, Stalnukhin said that he would not apply for the post of chairman of the city assembly.
“I see how I irritate almost all parties outside Narva. Nobody likes to hear an unpleasant truth, so I told Ms. Raik that I was refusing to run for the post of chairman of the city assembly in the interests of forming a new coalition. Unfortunately, in Estonia it is impossible to cooperate with the Stenbock House while remaining an honest person,” he said.
Stalnukhin added that he no longer has the authority to answer questions from journalists.
