“I return home crying”

Nacho Abad has traveled to Catarroja, one of the most destroyed towns by the passage of the DANA and from this devastated scenario, it is collecting testimonies and stories of neighbors who have lost everything and volunteers who are leaving their lives for helping others.

While the presenter of ‘En boca de todos’ toured the town, a man sitting in a chair eating a sandwich and resting caught his attention. At that moment, Nacho Abad approached this man and he told him: “I am a volunteer, we started at 7:30 and we are cleaning the mud from the bottom of the buildings, but we can’t take it anymore until all the cars are removed.”

Furthermore, Manolo confessed that it is the third day coming because there are many people who need it. Given these words, Nacho Abad pointed out that this work must fill with pride and the volunteer collapsed with emotion: “Every day I go home crying.”

The presenter of the program reassured Manolo and he dedicated some nice words to him: “What you are doing is a damn wonder, you are giving hope to many people and I completely understand that you are excited.”

After this encouragement, the volunteer could not continue speaking and Nacho Abad thanked him again for his work and that of all the volunteers who are helping Valencians affected by DANA every day.
