Giulia Salemi poses radiantly, proud of her baby bump, on the cover of F. Weekly talks about the pregnancy: towards mid-January 2025 she will give birth to a boy, the second for her partner, Pierpaolo Pretelli, already father of Leonardo, had by his ex Ariadna Romero, who turned 7 last July 18th. “I see sleepless nights and complex months”confides the influencer.
The 31-year-old Italian-Persian, when asked what she sees if she closes her eyes, replies: “Happiness. I imagine my little one in my arms, I cuddle him, I massage him, I kiss him. Around me the love of Pierpaolo, the joy of my mother, my father, my grandmother Giuliana. I also see sleepless nights and complex months, motherhood is not all roses and flowers. And, having enjoyed the luxury of being able to take a break for a few months, I have several projects in the pipeline: my career is just as important as being a mother. Then, later on, I would like another child. Marriage, who knows“.
Since being pregnant, she feels matured: “I thought that to be liked you had to appear perfect: I was wrong”. She already knows what kind of mother she will be: “A mother who will teach her child respect. The news scares me with the list of feminicides, the hatred, the aggression. I would like to teach him love, sweetness, goodness. And to accept rejection, because everyone is free to choose. I will allow him to cry and be fragile: I really believe in emotional education, boys need it greatly“.
In recent months she has been happy “to experience pregnancy with a serenity never experienced, I have no worries about the body that inevitably changes. In short, I await with joy and anxiety. She won’t let go of me.”. His fear of loneliness has almost disappeared: “The fear subsides. Pierpaolo is a good, generous, truly rare boy. I feel all his love, supportalso because he is already a father and in some ways more ready.”
Pretelli, is at his side. After a brief crisis in 2023, the two met again: “We decided to have a baby when our relationship became stable and we no longer had any doubts. There was a lot of work behind our crisis. I took pen and paper and wrote a long 12-page letter with Pierpaolo’s positive and negative sides, he did the same. We promised to improve what the other didn’t like, we have learned to speak, avoiding long silences if there are misunderstandings or bad moods. We know how to apologize and hug each other to release tensions. It’s fundamental.”
