It is certain that the announcement regarding the end of collaboration with Oprescu almost two and a half years after his appointment as coach attracted a lot of reactions on the Facebook page of the Oltean club. All kinds, from messages of sadness to some welcoming this decision.
Among those who commented is Ianis Stoica (main photo, currently at FC Hermannstadt) and Jordan Eftimie.
Liga2.ro tried to get a point of view from coach Daniel Oprescu about the reasons for the separation from CSM Slatina, but he did not want to have any reaction.

Ianis Stoica commented on it, an hour and a half after its publication (photo text 1)striker currently registered in the first league, at FC Hermannstadt. The young man who turns 21 on December 8 had a message of support for the coach he had at CSM Slatina in the 2020-2021 season.
“It hurts me to see these changes, because it is the club from which I left in big football and I can tell you that those who left today will leave a big void in Slătinean football, and regarding coach Daniel Oprescu he is a perfect professional, who also -dedicated a large part of his career to Slatina even though he had countless better opportunities. Success”said the son of Pompiliu Stoica. His message has garnered the most “likes”, 36 in total, while the club’s statement has garnered 205 so far.
In response to Ianis Stoica’s message, Toma Bodri also commented (photo text 2)also a basic player at CSM Slatina in the 2020-2021 season, currently at the Viitorul Arad team, in League 3. “Ianis Stoica, you proved, in fact, that Slatina is a launching pad and not a landing pad… These words are very beautiful! I, for one, was touched by this paragraph”wrote Toma Bodri.
- The two were teammates at CSM Slatina in the 2020-2021 League 2 season. Stoica played in 24 matches (1771 minutes) and scored 7 goals, while Bodri played in 19 games (1271 minutes) and did not marked.
- Before reaching CSM Slatina, Ianis Stoica had performed for FCSB, Dunărea Călărași, Petrolul Ploiești and Metaloglobus. Indeed, at Slatina he was offered the most chances to play. He later returned to FCSB, and after that he played for “U” Cluj and from February 2024 he is at FC Hermannstadt, for which, this season, he has 17 matches in the first league and scored 4 goals.
