Ibersol already has 26 Taco Bell restaurants in Portugal – Commerce

The Taco Bell restaurant brand arrived in Portugal in 2019, through Porto’s Ibersol, having since accelerated its expansion in the country, where it already employs more than 350 people.

The Mexican-inspired fast food chain closes 2024 with the opening of its 26th restaurant nationwide, located at Strada Outlet, in Odivelaswhich is the fifth flagship space opened this year alone.

The brand operated by Ibersol now has nine spaces in Greater Lisbon, seven in Greater Porto, three in the Algarve and two in Braga, as well as restaurants in the cities of Vila Real, Aveiro, Coimbra, Funchal and Ponta Delgada.

“The five Taco Bell openings we held this year demonstrate the growing acceptance of the brand across the country and confirm the dynamics that we will continue to bring to Taco Bell in Portugal”, says João Falcão, marketing director of the Ibersol group, in a statement .

Owned by North American Yum! Brands, Taco Bell operates more than 8,300 restaurants, including more than 1,100 outside the United States.

In Portugal, Ibersol owns KFC, Pans & Company, Pasta Caffé, Pizza Hut, Pret A Manger, MiiT, Ribs, Taco Bell restaurants, kiosks, cafeterias, catering and other concessions.

In Spain, it has restaurants (owned and franchised) under the brands Dehesa Santa Maria, FresCo, KFC, Pans & Company, Pret A Manger, Pizza Hut, Pizza Movil, Ribs and other concessions.

In Angola, it is present with KFC and Pizza Hut.
