IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 8th that it successfully completed the ‘2024 Seoul Fintech Week Demo Day with IBK Industrial Bank’ event co-hosted with the Seoul Metropolitan Government at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido on the 7th.
‘Seoul Fintech Week 2024’, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government until the 10th, is a fintech-specialized global event held to increase the competitiveness of Seoul’s digital financial city and promote innovation and development of the fintech industry.
This Demo Day was held by Industrial Bank of Korea’s digital open innovation test bed ‘IBK 1st LAB’ and Korea’s largest fintech incubator, ‘Seoul Fintech Lab’, to provide fintech companies with investment opportunities and support corporate promotion. .
A total of 12 participating companies (▲Value of Space ▲Green Ribbon ▲Money Station ▲Mimbi ▲Softlanders ▲iCuka ▲Whatsup ▲Quantum AI ▲Cross Hub ▲Fairy ▲Korea Asset Purchase ▲Korea Housing Information) that made it to the finals are IBK Financial Group. IR pitching was presented in front of six judges consisting of investment reviewers from venture capital (VC) and others.
As a result of the Demo Day screening, Korea Housing Information was selected as the grand prize winner, and Cross Hub was selected as the popularity award. The two companies selected as excellent companies will be given the benefits of moving into Seoul Fintech Lab and Seoul Fintech Lab membership.
An official from Industrial Bank of Korea said, “We will continue to spare no effort in supporting the fintech ecosystem so that we can discover the dreams and potential of fintech companies and make those dreams come true.”
