Ice baths with Tiberiu Useriu, bread tastings with Lara Schütz, mapping the garden of the University House with Nicolas Triboi, sound and vibration healing sessions with Awa Ly are just some of the unique experiences that the participants of the the new edition of the festival UNFINISHED. For three days, between September 27-29, House Of Ideas, the heritage greenhouse and the 4000 square meter garden in the heart of Bucharest become the meeting place of the UNFINISHED community.
Experiences, conversations, installations, performances, wellbeing sessions and more await the 3141 participants who will be accepted to spend the end of September together. The theme of the edition is PRAXIS, and this year, more than ever, the UNFINISHED festival is about connecting theory with practice, about how we can transform ourselves from passive receivers of information into active creators of our own way of learning, about how we can disconnect from familiarity and how we can embrace the present with all that comes with it.
House of Ideas devine No-Phone Zone
And to truly put this philosophy into practice, this year the festival will see the introduction of a No-Phone Zone – a space to encourage deep thinking and unfiltered experiences. Thus, House of Ideas will be completely signal-free, thus encouraging participants to connect with each other and be present in the here and now.
The only way to participate in UNFINISHED is by completing an application and a selection process carried out by the festival organizers. The application can be completed on apply.unfinished.ro.

Urban Planning Walk with urban planner Lior Steinberg

Bread Tasting with Lara Schütz
What is your first memory of bread? What does love smell like? What flavors flood your mind when you think of the bread you used to eat as a child? These are just some of the questions that will guide the workshop that Lara Schütz is preparing for UNFINISHED 24.
Born in Romania and settled in Austria, Lara fell in love with the divine smell of freshly baked bread from her childhood, thanks to her grandmother. Her goal at UNFINISHED will be to explore with the participants how we make bread, to familiarize them with smell, taste, aromas and how they can be more attentive to all these.
Sound Healing cu Awa Ly
Music has the power to bring people together, but also to heal them. Sound therapy, or acoustic healing, has been used for centuries as a healing tool, using vocal vibrations and instruments to stimulate the nervous system.
In UNFINISHED, artist Awa Ly, in addition to her live concert, will guide 2 acoustic healing sessions. A French singer of Senegalese descent, Awa Ly released her latest album “Safe and Sound” to bring us together around common questions and emotions about the state of the world as a shared space. Her music is not just to be listened to, it is an experiential performance, from her voice to the choreography of her hands and the complexity of her movements.
Morning Bootcamp with Tiberiu Useriu
Morning Bootcamp is an experience designed for you sink participants in Tibi’s daily routine, providing a unique opportunity to train, recover and fuel their bodies just like a top athlete.
The experience will include running, stretching, ice baths and a nutritious breakfast, prepared according to Tibi’s personal routine, offering a chance to witness the practice that shaped the career of one of the most resilient and accomplished endurance athletes in world.
Live cartography cu Nicolas Triboi
Resuming the work started by Nicolas Triboi in 2022, when UNFINISHED moved to the Garden of the University House, this project marks a new step in the effort of the EIDOS foundation to restore and regenerate one of the most beautiful urban gardens, according to the original 1860 plans of the Librecht House- Filipescu (as it was originally called).
In this hands-on experience, participants will have the unique opportunity (and responsibility!) to explore and document every small life form (from plants and trees to birds and insects) that helps sustain an urban ecosystem.
Botanical dyes by Adelina Toma
Can anyone speak better about colors than nature itself? And what does it mean to wear nature on our own bodies? How do fibers and paint affect our skin and the world around us? The slow fashion designer, Adelina Toma, the founder of Ițe Urbane, an ethical slow-fashion workshop in Bucharest, will guide the participants in the traditional techniques of dyeing fabrics with plants.
Adelina will also create a permanent installation in the greenhouse UNFINISHED – the space where the community gathers around the table and eats breakfast, lunch and dinner together.
