IDA PRESTER: “For me, the stage is a natural habitat, I tell stories from the stage, through music or through program management”

To meet the upcoming SEMPL conferencewhich will be held on November 14 and 15 in Portorož, we spoke with Ida Prester, who will moderate the program of the SEMPL conference… The interview was conducted by Snežana Milić

Dear Ida, to begin with, tell us what will be your role within this year’s SEMPL Conference?

– I am a moderator, announcer and master of ceremony. In short – the glue between the various parts of the conference.

You are recognized by the public as one of the most desirable presenters and program leaders. What are the qualities that are needed to do this type of work well?

– Above all, it is important to enjoy being on stage. People are generally terrified of public speaking and avoid performing. For me, the stage is a natural habitat, I tell stories from the stage, through music or through program management. I imagine that the audience is my friend, the people who came to hear something new and inspiring. And I try to make it interesting for them, to convey some good energy.

What is your general opinion about the SEMPL Conference?

– I’ve never been to Semple, but I’ve heard great reviews. Very interesting people from the whole region gather. I was delighted when they invited me to work.

Invite potential visitors to attend this year’s SEMPL conference

– Come to Sempl to hang out! The program is great, everyone will be in Portorož for those two days, don’t miss it. I don’t start the program until I see you in the hall
