If it could, the Tisza Party would cancel the utility reduction + video

The EP representative of Péter Magyar’s party, Eszter Lakos, voted for the opinion of the European Parliament’s industry, research and energy (ITRE) committee on the UN climate change conference (COP29), thus confirming that the Tisza Party would cancel the utility reduction.

The supporters of the document voted for by Péter Magyar’s people object to the amount of residential energy subsidies, such as utility reduction, and call for their elimination

Szilárd Németh recalled. According to the politician, despite the fact that it is being exploited, the left-wing parties, including a member of the Tisza party, are constantly campaigning against the utility reduction. Szilárd Németh stated that gas is four times more expensive in Prague, three times more expensive in Warsaw, and two and a half times more expensive in Bratislava and Bucharest than at home.

In Europe, the difference is the biggest compared to Stockholm, in the Swedish capital you have to pay thirteen times more than in Hungary. For electricity, the Czechs pay four times the price, the Poles almost two and a half times, the Slovaks twice, and the Romanians one and a half times the domestic price.

Szilárd Németh confirmed that the government supported by Fidesz-KDNP will protect the utility reduction.
